Living a healthy life and helping others do the same is my passion. As a child and into my 20’s, I ate my share of processed, junk food just like anyone else. I used to eat fast food, give in to my late night cravings and smoke cigarettes. At the time, I didn’t give much thought as to the effect that these choices had on my mind, body, energy and sleep.

Today I eat real, whole foods; foods that fuel my health and give me sustainable energy throughout the day, better digestion, quality sleep and satisfaction while on-the-go. I don’t count calories. I don’t diet. I’m less about cheating or depriving myself and more about moderation and quality. I don’t get hung up on the latest fad, because I’ve built a foundation of mindfully making the best choice possible with my food in any given situation. I love shopping local farmer’s markets, health food stores and perimeter shopping at the grocery store. I love to learn and teach others how simple nutrition can be.

After 20 years in a corporate setting, I realized the way I was living was not conducive to the life I wanted to continue to lead. I woke up everyday and let the weather predict my mood. I left just enough time to get to work without taking time for me. I was doubled over in pain and secretly icing my body. I spent seven years trying to understand why this pain was showing up. I thought I was healthy. We store experience in our body which can show up as inflammation and chronic pain. It certainly has for me. Until we address the root cause of our patterns, habits, choices and conditioning, nothing can change for the better. From doctor to physical therapy, from pain pills to medicinal patches, it wasn’t until I addressed these key areas of life when I began to notice a shift. I was able to release 10 lbs. I now sleep without getting up in the night. I enjoy sustainable energy throughout the day. And my positive outlook on life is like nothing I ever imagined.

In 2009, I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I studied hundreds of dietary theories from worldwide leaders in the nutrition industry. I learned from Dr. Andrew Weil, Deepak Chopra and Joshua Rosenthal, to name a few. My work involves holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health.

More than anything, I share my passion for nutrition, and watch as my clients discover the transformative power of owning their health. I believe the key to living a healthy lifestyle and feeling your best begins with education, support, practice and accountability. We take a look at what you eat and what you think to implement small shifts which bring about big results. It’s about being open, trying something new and executing your plan. It’s about discovering what motivates you and aligning that with your internal goals so you can experience your best self.
